Summary

Victorian mahogany display box containing what is presumed to be human enema equipment.

Originally thought to be made for cattle, through investigating the manufacturers catalogue, it was found that in the late eighteen hundreds, Arnold & Sons only produced medical equipment for humans. The box is missing one piece of the brass mechanism, and the rubber tube that would have degraded over time.
