Summary

This object is an album of artworks, poetry and prose, originally created in 1903 by a Scottish schoolteacher, Cathie S. Allan, who attended Dundas Vale Training College for teachers in Glasgow, and features entries both by her and her friends, family, peers and colleagues – each dating from across the early 1900s. Treatment mainly involved repairs to the cover and fragile areas of binding.
