Summary

BBC – Secrets of the museum inspired me to look into the field of conservation in my first year of college. We were watching it on our last day of term to fill time and learn about applications of techniques, and the processes lead me to choose Conservation of Cultural Heritage as a course at Lincoln University. Though I have moved away from my interest in textiles, I enjoy researching the ways different audiences can interact with objects, and how developing the conservation field can affect processes set by institutions.

Career Aspirations

I hope to stay in my home county of Yorkshire after graduation, as there are many opportunities for career development in the area.
